About me

As I mentioned, I'm now 80 (born May 1946).  I lived the first half of my life so far in Harrogate (Yorkshire, England) and had a variety of jobs.

In 1986, I moved to York, where I still live, and finally retired in 2017.  I have many hobbies; writing (obviously!), trying, not very successfully, to learn to play a keyboard (musical kind), walking in the beautiful local countryside and seaside.

I also enjoy cooking and baking, gardening and sewing.  I was brought up with my grandparents and my grandmother taught me to cook and bake.

I married my second wife in 1989 and we have now been very happily married for 37 years.
